HealthLinks Foundation evolved from the perceived need to provide
financial support for
HealthLinks Clinic patients who did not have insurance to cover
the potential costs of rehabilitation services. The clinic’s
policy is to never turn anyone away because of inability to pay for
services. Thus
HealthLinks Clinic staff felt it important to have access to
funds to subsidize pro bono patients' treatment costs, hence the
idea to establish the foundation was born. The HealthLinks
Foundation received its 501 (c) 3 in March of 2007.
The
Foundation's Board of Directors are truly committed individuals who

testimonials of current board members as to
how they feel about
serving the mission of the Foundation.
"I am privileged to be involved
in the work of HealthLinks Clinic. My passion to support
others in their walk through a cancer diagnosis, treatment,
and recovery in this compassionate setting has been an
opportunity of a lifetime for me. The work of the Clinic is
foundational and unique in the world of cancer patient care
and I'm very fortunate to be involved." Kathy Anderson
"I was so impressed with the passion
Trudy and her staff exhibit when talking about the
HealthLinks Clinic
programs, and on listening to her patients speak about their
experiences at the clinic, I knew that this program was an important
asset for our community. So when Trudy asked me to join the board,
I had no hesitation in accepting. I immediately knew this was
something I could be committed to intensely." Tom Irvine |
